All you need to know when you join Inventure family.

 
 

Welcome

Great to have you on-board in Inventure family. We want to get you up to speed with all you need to know about working with us and the best tricks to get the most value out of Inventure team. 

First things first, don't be shy. Our goal is to spend time with you, do not settle for only one team member of Inventure team but spend time understanding who we are and how different team members can help you. If you made it this far it means you have already received your log in details for Inventure Awake. 

1. The platform 

Inventure Awake is our platform to store guidelines and best practices regarding different aspects of running a business. Namely: strategy, fundraising and recruitment. The website is meant to be an archive for valuable documents but we want to see the action happening on the Slack channel. 

Inventure portfolio Slack channel is a valuable communication channel to communicate with Inventure team as well as other portfolio companies. If you are not yet part of the channel log in and introduce yourself. Feel free to post questions and contribute to the community. 

2. Reporting

We have teamed up with Rundit Oy in order to make the reporting process as lean as possible. Once you have logged in to their platform, we will add the metrics to your profile that we need regularly. Those are net sales, gross margin, EBITDA, EBIT, net profit, cash, personnel and runway months.Please also report future estimates and describe the period’s highlights and lowlights via Rundit.

We require the reporting to be done quarterly, but filling in the data monthly should actually not take you more that 10-15 minutes.

You can also onboard your co-founders, employees and other investors to the platform, and the platform might just be helpful also for your own reporting, data visualisation and other purposes!

Kristiina from Inventure will make sure you will be up to speed with the platform and investor reporting needs. 

3. Value creation

Inventure's value creation workshop aims at identifying the main areas to improve in the company on a given timeline. We believe in keeping things simple and aim at working around a framework similar to the one below.

If you have not yet discuss this with us, pencil down your main ideas around the four main focus area and bring them up with Inventure team. The goal is to have clear visibility on the main goals and KPIs for the coming months to align expectations and ensure a smooth cooperation.
